A few weeks back I learned about a new company launching in Atlanta called Lyft via LinkedIn ads. Lyft is a ride-sharing program where users can log into the app, specify the destination and a driver picks them up for what will probably be less than a typical cab ride. The first thing that crossed my mind about Lyft was safety. How do you know who will be picking you up? Well, all of the drivers have to pass a background check before they can drive for Lyft. I went to Music Midtown last weekend and Lyft would have been a great option taking us to and from the park to our hotel. Especially with all of the rain. -Sigh- I swear it rained on us for 4 hours straight out there. However, once it cleared up we had a wonderful time.

Hey, Dana! Thanks for the info! I’ll have to try this. We live in the ATL and we’re a one car family so that means I need to take a cab sometimes to get where I’m going. I’m gonna check out Lyft!
