After college, when I needed to add some more “professional” mature wear to my wardrobe and ditch the PINK pants, cheerleading sweatshirts and jeans. I decided that The Limited would be a great place to start building my professional wear. Over the past few months I have noticed that they run special sale hours on suits. This is nice, but the times are always mid day and pretty inconvenient to my schedule. Here is a recent campaign I received an email about:

That’s a decent deal. But 12-2pm is right at lunch time and during the midday stretch. I often forget about the sale or get way to busy to participate. So after months of opening emails from them and seeing that sale time and thinking of how it just didn’t work into my schedule I got this email this week:

An after hours online sale! Perfect timing for when I get off work and great items too. I felt like they were reading my mind. But to an extent isn’t that what marketing is supposed to do?

Has that ever happened to you? You wish your favorite companies would offer something and then they do?
