This post is about music. Not anything else. Just telling you now to avoid future disappointment while reading. A while back, I found myself watching an episode of Unsung. I love shows like Unsung because it’s almost like watching a biography on television. Unfortunately, TV One is not included as an option with our cable provider. So I must have seen this episode at a hotel on a trip or at a friend’s house. Well, anyway, Unsung is great!
This particular day, I learned about Klymaxx. The band had success back in the mid to late 80s. I was born smack dab in the middle of the decade, so I can honestly say I don’t know as much about 80s music as I do about 90s. Well anyway, Klymaxx had a few hits. Like “Meeting in the Ladies Room” and “The Men All Pause”. The lyrics are cool and confident ladies anthems. I like them both. I even have them on my iPod now. They are great songs to help you get pumped up for a night out while getting ready 😉 If you like 80s music, think along the lines of Vanity 6 and Rick James. That’s what I think of when I hear them.
